Terms of use

Plainvoice is the rewrite studio at plainvoice.ai, run by the person who operates that site. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.

You keep the rights to the drafts you paste. You give Plainvoice permission to process a draft so it can return a rewrite, and to store it when your plan keeps drafts. Plainvoice does not train on your text.

The no-account demo is not written to the database. It is 400 words and three runs in 24 hours. A free account is 1,000 words a month and keeps drafts until you delete them. Writer is 25,000 words a month and one style profile, priced at $9 a month or $6 a month billed annually. Studio is 80,000 words a month, five style profiles, and history export, priced at $19 a month or $12 a month billed annually. One request, on every plan, stops at 400 words. Words reset each UTC month and do not roll over.

Billing is not connected. The prices above are the plan prices. The site does not charge a card, and checkout does not take payment. Free stays the default. When a paid plan exists, stopping renewal keeps that plan through the current UTC month. Unused words are not refunded, and deleting text does not reset the words already counted.

Sign-in is a link sent to your email. There is no password, and there is no separate password reset. Ask for a new link. Accounts stay closed until email is connected.

Writer and Studio can turn keeping off. Turning it off skips saved drafts and rewrites, still counts words, keeps style samples, and turns off paragraph retry. You can delete saved drafts, rewrites, and style samples from the account page.

When a rewrite is sent to the model, xAI keeps that API request for about 30 days for abuse review. Zero data retention is not turned on. If the server has no model key, the rewrite is not sent to a model.

Plainvoice does not promise that a rewrite will pass a detector. It does not sell a detector score. The line under a rewrite is an estimate of the writing in front of you. Plainvoice does not claim a certification, a seal, or a compliance badge.

Do not send drafts you are not allowed to share, and do not use the product to break the law. Plainvoice can refuse a request that fails a limit, and it can pause unpaid rewrites when the daily spend ceiling is reached.

The product is provided as it is. The person who runs plainvoice.ai is not liable for decisions you make from a rewrite, or for a draft you chose to paste.
